Internet sales policy

Hearing aids are medical devices, and as such they need to be prescribed and fitted by someone trained and qualified to do this. Buying a hearing aid without an initial face-to-face consultation, professional fitting, and subsequent follow-ups could result in you purchasing an ineffective hearing instrument for your loss, or worse, damaging your hearing further. Additionally, the consultation includes an examination which can highlight other serious ear health conditions. For these reasons, Starkey Hearing Technologies does not endorse Internet Retailers who will sell instruments to customers without a face-to-face consultation and will not supply those retailers.

Starkey hearing aids sold or purchased through any e-commerce websites or online portal shall not be covered under the Company’s Warranty policy. Starkey India deals only through its Authorized Dealers’ network.

General policy

Starkey hearing aids sold/purchased or repaired through any third party Dealer/Dispenser, not authorised by Starkey India, shall not be covered under the Company’s Warranty policy. Starkey India deals only through its Authorized Dealers’ network.

Starkey India shall not be liable or obligated to the Authorized Dealers or any third party in any manner due to the use of the products by the end users without the instructions and supervision of Audiologists and/or other qualified technical experts familiar with the use of the products.
